Protecting Our Rights

Human rights are universal. Every person in California deserves dignity, equality, and protection under the law. These rights are not optional.

Equality and Non-Discrimination – Everyone deserves fair treatment in housing, employment, education, healthcare, and public life, regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, immigration status, age, or ability.

Safety and Protection – No one should face violence, harassment, exploitation, or unsafe conditions in their home, workplace, school, or community.

Freedom and Dignity – Everyone has the right to speak, worship, assemble, and live openly without fear. Political violence against anyone for their speech or beliefs should never be tolerated.

Access to Opportunity – Everyone deserves quality education, economic opportunity, healthcare, and social support.

Justice and Representation – The Constitution guarantees due process, equal protection under the law, and the right to vote.

Environmental and Community Rights – All Californians deserve a healthy and safe environment.

As your State Senator, I will defend all of our Constitutional rights.

I will never throw anyone under the bus to placate the extreme elements of our political system.

If the rights of one person are trampled, the rights of all other people come under threat.

This is non-negotiable.
